The Idler Welding Machine is a twin head machine that is automatic and pneumatically operated. This machine is used to weld idlers, or bearings, onto a shaft. The process is done by feeding the idlers into the two heads of the machine, which then clamp down and weld them in place.

 Idlers (rollers) are vital to the conveying process. They support the belt and conveyed material along its full length preventing it from stretching, sagging and eventually failing.

Idler is a belt supporting roller.

Carrying idler is an idler upon which the load carrying portion of belting is supported.

Troughing Idler is a carrying idler consisting of two or more rollers so arranged as to turn the edges of the belt upwards to form the belt into a moving trough.
